Airflow improvements
I've seem a few gizzmo's on ebay that claim to help improve airflow into the rad, and the ic.
First one raise's the back of the IC up to allow more air to flow through.
Second one directs more air in through bonnet scoop.
Third one blanks the gap between the rad and the front panel to stop air escaping over the top of the rad.
All fairly cheap, about £30 in total, but are they any good?
Car is a 99 MY UK Turbo
Anybody know of any cheap (read free!!) mods to help performance?
Any watch outs for this model?
Thanks
J

The IC tilt kit also works by allowing more air flow through the IC (to cool down charge flow). You should be able to do it relatively cheaply by using some spacers to raise the back edge of the IC up (I think there were even measurements on here somewhere!)

Airflow mods
You can never have too much cool air.....
For £30 and an hours DIY do it anyhow. It won't do any harm and may just offer some benefit.
I fitted an Intercooler Splitter the other evening - makes no noticible improvement in performance - but it will direct air to the front of the IC which can only be helpful.
Have seen the slam panels which will direct more air through the rad - again why not do it anyhow - will do no harm.
If you run an induction kit, get some aluminium sheeting and a flexible hose, box off your induction filter from the engine, and feed it cold air from the front of the car.
