Question Servicing a uk 22b

Due a 60,000 k service in the next two weeks. The car is still under subaru warranty so Ive got to keep up the dealer history. Ive called several dealers and the prices vary by £280! All the dealers in question had never heard of a 22b Now, Im a bit skeptical that the service will be carried out correctly due to these to odd circumstances. I do not want to travel too far from luton for a service but I also want it done correctly. Can anybody recommend a competent dealer local to Luton who is a reasonable price? Im tempted to call Prodrive but I fear they'd tell me to **** off

Yes extended warranty til Dec.

Made a few more calls today. Most disappointed with my local subaru garage, Slip End Garages. Firstly got a quote for £200, then another for £450 and called to book today and was told it was now £465. Have gone from the cheapest to one of the most expensive, wouldn't price match the lowest cheapest quote either. I've never heard of this dealership before, so it must be new. Well it's a few hundred quid profit they won't be making from me.

there is nothing technically different about the 22B.

The gearbox oil is the same, the oil is the same, the spark plugs are the same as the 98 model year.

You need not worry if they have heard of a 22B or not.

and why not listen to the advice chuck gave you on 22B.com or alterntively the place that Tim (Slooby) recommended?

Ive seen Sloobys advice, Ive used them before and its a bit of a bugger to get there and back. They are £4 cheaper than the Luton one though

Took a trip up to the Luton one just now. they have been about for 2 months apparently. Spoke to one of the blokes up there and he drives about in a wr1. Was offered a lift back home and picked up to collect in one of their cars. The place is about 2 miles away from me, and Ive bitten the bullet and booked it in for next week. They wouldnt budge on any money off though
