complete driveshaft or Outer CV joint - what would you do?
Trying to decide between changing the problem parts - Outer CV Joint (which is the problem) or the whole driveshaft
Labour a non-issue as I have 'family' doing the work for free................
Outer CV joint is £54 (all in) versus entire shaft at £94 all in (theres some wildly varying prices out there on the entire drive shafts)
Is it quite easy to change the Outer CV joint? - I know that you have to get the Splines spot on and the 4 door is different to the 2 door (Someone commented that the shaft was the same as a UK but this is not true, shaft splines and length can be different

I think the main thinking behind doing the whole driveshaft assy is its easier to source from a breakers, and quicker to fit if labour was an issue
Assuming the drive shaft assembly comes with a new inner c/v joint as well you've gotta go with the complete shaft,Inner/outer joint and the shaft(£94).Just outer(£54) that works out much cheaper to buy the lot in one go
