exhaust

i have a 99 4wd sport impreza and i get a ticking from the exhaust about 3500 revs onwards from the back box,could this be because it is decatted or is it knackered?

Sure it's the back box ?

Sounds like a rattling heat shield.

3500RPM is the common point where this happens on the classics.
