Thumbs up wrx fueling

You're all scaring me with these horror stories of engines exploding. Is there ANYTHING you can do to stop this, eg, different ecu, re-map. And how much does this cost. Thinking of buying a freshly imported wrx but I would rather drive it than look at it out the window, lying in bits. Or is a Turbo 2000 more reliable? Cheers.

Default cost of a remap

Just got this reply from brdevelopments

The cost of the TEK3 custom engine remap for your car is £650+VAT. It takes approx. 4 hours for the mapping to be completed.

Subject: remap for an import

Hi,

Just came across your site at scoobynet. Looking at a remap for our import Forester s-turbo so it'll run on ordinary uk unleaded 97ron. How much do you charge for the job and how long does it take?

Hope this gives you an idea of the cost

I think you have been reading to many horror stories, we have sold countless WRX's and not had any engine problems. We have had some problems with STI's and very aggresive drivers though.
