Hi,

I have bought myself some of the new type 740 injectors for my car with phase1 rail adaptors, I can see how that bit goes together but am unsure on the wiring.....

Can I cut off one of the plastic rails on the side of the injector connection and then cut off the retaining lug bit and put the connector on "upside down" or the other way to what it was on the oe 380's? The pins seem offset in the new injectors and would line up better this way?

or.... should I trim the connector to fit and bend the pins slightly so they line up with the other half and keep the plugs the right way up?

The pins in new inj seem to be sunk in the connector more than the old ones, do they reach ok?
