Opinions please on the following.

1 The Quack

Going up through the gears and booting it in 2nd at about 5000 rpm I get a sound like a muffled duck, I think from the solenoid, into third and the same noise kicks in at about 4000 rpm, into fourth and it comes in again at about 3700 rpm. Its not an issue if I accelerate more sedately. I recall reading on a thread a while back about cleaning the pipes and the solenoid out with Brake cleaner could it just be a bit strangled? When I first got the car two years back with 45K on it this didnt happen, now with 116K and lots of M way i can well believe its a bit dirty internally in places.


2: The Beep

Start car, turn on aircon, stand outside car and it makes random electrical beeps at me as if its trying to tell me something? WTF ?
