would the top mount i/c from my99 sti type r fit on a my95wrx?mine knackered needs changing sounds like good upgrade to me if it fits ok!!!!!?

 

it will go on BUT its a right pain in the **** to do!

yes its definately worth doing and will improve the cars cooling, just don't expect it to fit straight in.

if you do a search you should find a few threads on doing this conversion.

 

If you are going for the MY99 tmic then try to get the alloy Y piece hose thats underneath it. This will just make things easier to fit.
A spare throttle body, so you can cut/shorten it down (remove the lip)
Version 1/2 samco turbo hose kit, this will help you retain your standard dump valve.
The rest is a bit more diy to block/blank the original dv connection point on the front the tmic, this will help clearances issues with the iscv.
