Quick question, hopefully not to impossible to answer:

Why does my DEFI oil pressure guage read 6 kPa's when starting from cold and then once warm 80deg does it then swing wildly between 4 and 5 kPa's on tickover, then under boost read an almost solid 6.5kPa's (wanders between 6 and 6.5?
Is this, does this sound normal ?

 

mate, my p1 is roughly the same.bout 6.5 bar when cold. then when at about 92 degrees drops to 3.5 bar.........and as you say, fluctuates about a bit.
so, sounds good to me.

 

same same, been told it should be nice at 8bar but what ya gonna do
