Over the last couple of weeks car has started making a strange noise from what i beleive is the front of the engine or possibly the bottom as far as I can tell. Only happens from initial start at idle for a short time then goes away. Car is MY98 UK turbo any ideas??

could be the start of piston slap if it hasnt already been sorted under warranty,otherwise it could just be something silly like a loose fanbet or something daft like that possibly the air con pump if you have aircon

 

It's got piston slap anyway its a different sound to that and I don't have aircon, checked belts etc. any more ideas bearings poss?
