A guy is selling a 98 v ltd with a blown engine because a vandel removed the sump plug and would like to know the price for an sti engine. The engine already in is the 2.5 ltr upgrade ( spent £6k fitting it ). Is this a waste of time and effort or not please help.

Hello David, i emailed the guy yesterday and he said that the 3 piston is damaged and the big end is knackered. Could be more damage as someone removed the sump plug. Should i let you rebuild this or should i buy a new sti engine. Also could you give me a price for a new engine please. Regards Nathan.
