my03 sti feels like its missing something lately,if travelling in forth gear and accelorating hard(ish),the scoob seems to be a little bit hit and miss,also same problem in fifth gear,it just feels as if the power isnt coming through cleanly

any idea guys?

the car just feels like it needs a good kick up the *** in fourth and fifth gears,lacks a little punch on accelaration

please all opinions appre,as the car is going into the dealers on thursday for a rattle on the rear end that's driving me nuts,so while its there they can sort the mo fo

 

Crap petrol?
It can make a difference. Try some Esso super instead of optimax.
Mine feels dead if it has been left for two weeks with optimax in the tank.
