Default sti feels its loseing some power?

Right guy's
my03 sti feels like its missing something lately,if travelling in forth gear and accelorating hard(ish),the scoob seems to be a little bit hit and miss,also same problem in fifth gear,it just feels as if the power isnt coming through cleanly

any idea guys?

Crap petrol?
It can make a difference. Try some Esso super instead of optimax.
Mine feels dead if it has been left for two weeks with optimax in the tank.
