Cool Walbro fuel pump and uprated regulator

I am about to fit a Walbro 285 fuel pump and an FSE FPR from Lateral Performance to my MY00, the FPR has a guage on it and the car is running about 265PS, What presure does the FPR need setting at???

Also do I need to remove a resistor or summat from the fuel pump when fitting teh walbro?

Cheers

Steve

The regulator needs adjusting to set the fuel pressure at 3bar or 43.5psi (standard pressure) on idle, that is with the vacuum hose disconnected from regulator.

Certainly didnt need to remove any resistors on my MY99 when i fitted a walbro.

I had to disconnect the resitor firring a 225 to my MY93, as the new pump didn't have the connectors. Works fine as far as I know. Didn't realise you need to change the regulator, and I think mine's over-fueling now!
