Purchase Suggestions
I am currently saving to get a scoob in the next 6 months. I will have around 6k to spend.
What sort of scoob do you recommend? I have been told to go for a uk model for insurance and running costs.
I'm not too bothered to have ultimate power as I'm currently driving a Nissan Almera 1.4, so anything with a turbo will be a massive leap in performance anyway.
What sort of things should I look out for? ie would it be better to go for one with say 70k on it thats had its clutch replaced or one thtas got 60k and had nothing replaced?
Any help will be much appreciated onder2:

Stick with a UK car if you're a first time scoober (like I am doing). JDM is slightly higher costs to run (insurance, fuel, parts, etc)
Look on ebay and autotrader and see whats available in your price range, you should get a good idea of what you can afford.
You should be able to get a MY 97/98 with FSH and average miles.
Hope that helps (although i'm no scooby expert I have been looking on here for a week or so myself)

Plenty on offer on this very website.
(Shortage of Euro Imports MY00 in wr blue /sonic blue though)!!
