I have been looking in the engine bay (classic) looking for somewhere to fit an additional water bottle and the best place i could see (don't really want it in the boot) was the carbon canister. What does the carbon canister actually do? What is the inside of the canister like? Could the carbon canister be emptied, cleaned out then filled with water and used as the water bottle? All in all would it be easier to find a bottle that fits in the same place?

What bottles are other people using who are doing similar conversions?

I want to retain the original sized water bottle rather than sourcing an STi or similar.

Just a couple of thoughts that are whizzing around. Any ideas?
