Question Knock Link

Hi,

Would a OEM standard knock link sensor from a MY95 fit a MY98 ?

What Knock sensor are you talking about ?

You have an oem fitted that is ecu controlled for the timing retard on "Knock" OR
you can fit a Bosch sensor (as fitted to Vauxhalls) which detacts Det Pinking Knock Etc: and is connected to a "knocklink" unit all of which are readily available
As for 95 sensor or 98 wouldnt have thought so as ecu parameters on timing vary..
BUT the bosch sensor as used in the Knocklink will fit any vehicle..

Probably all wrong but there you go hope it helps ya

It's a standard OEM one from a MY95 It should be OK for a MY98?
