Hi,

Just wondered if anyone else on here has removed their airbox silencer on there scoob. I did this yesterday off the back of a thread I saw on "scoobymods.com". Noticeable increase in sound, seems more torquey but maybe I'm imagining that?



I've left the ram air but in the engine bay intact but ran some foil tubing from the ram air into the airbox.

yeah, cheers, found it on an american website (the pic and mod info). I think it was well worth doing - get to hear that nice suction noise at 2500-3500rpm when you start to give it some. Seems to increase top end pull to.

I've left the original ram air scoop in place so another route of air is still provided to the airbox entry and some aluminium hosing on a u-bend into the airbox.

Who needs warranty :-)
