it will fit but not a lot to be gained to be honest.
you are better off putting the money towards a frontmount as the choice of top mounts are very ltd for the early cars.

It would fit straight on, is better than your OE one, has an alloy inlet pipe too. If it is reasonably priced and you do not intend doing mega mods, then it could be worth it.
However for a little bit more money and effort, a STI5 top mount can fit, which is much better.
