Default Help!!!!!!!

Before I drive it off a cliff anyone got any other ideas?.

Had a missfire/hesitation/idle problem for ages now. the car is a 93 wrx.

Had the following done:

1)Many sets of new plugs, and had them regapped.
2) ECU codes checked (no fault)
3) Earthing points stripped and refitted (no earthing mod)
4) Changed the battery (worked well for 3 days)

Anyone got any other ideas?. Could it be the ecu itself?. Am going to borrow a sti 2 ecu to see it works then. Or could it be the alternator?. Power seems to drop when the lights etc go on.

Any help greatly appreciated.

checked your coil packs ? they could be on their last legs hence the plugs getting a weak spark then you get the missfire etc.

as for battery wouldnt like to say could be alternator if it not getting any cherge back into it. its a try it and see at the mo.

see what others say.

could be the coilpacks. apparently they were ok. worth a look though.
will see what happens with the ecu and go from there.

after 6 months of it i might sell it and get an m3.
