Dump Valve Problem
Finished fitting my hybrid FMIC today.
All seems fine except the dump valve is not working as it should.
Its making a chattering sound, which im pretty sure is the turbo stalling.
The take off point on the induction pipe for the DV is a bigger diameter than on my previous setup, gone from 25mm to 38mm
Pretty sure this is the problem as the DV worked fine before and im not running any more boost than before.
This is the DV im using..
Is there any way of adjusting this? If not, think im going to reduce the diameter of the DV take off point back down to 25mm as this is the only thing that has changed.
Anyone else had this problem after fitting a hybrid FMIC ? and if so how did you resolve it.?

Alot of people myself included have had the same problem after fitting fmic, the dv you have by the look of the pic is a forge vta and you can buy a spring kit for about a tenner which contains 3 springs of different strenghts and 4 alloy shims.
What you have to do then is just try different spring/shim combination until your happy with the way it drives, i managed to sort mine out this way, it's not absolutely perfect but it's a hell of a lot better than it was.
