Default ScoobyECU suitable for my car?

I have been offered a 16psi ScoobyECU (single chip which fits directly to spare socket) from a regular here

His car is a UK car, but mine is WRX (1993). I know the chip itself will fit, but would it have been mapped specially for the UK car, ie TD04 turbo etc? I am very keen to get hold of one of these, but am a bit wary that I get the right one

Any help much appreciated.

UK and 94WRX can use a generic map, if the ignition is mapped to safe limits.
Generally they can be interchanged.
