Super AFC - what does it do and how'd you work it?
I recently bought a Scoob with a SAFC in it. The thing looks all very nice but what does it actually do and how do you work it?
(i can press the Next/Previous buttons to get graphs on and stuff!)

I would recommend that you don’t play with the settings your self, when setting up a safc you rely should use a wide band O2 sensor and you should also check for pinking/det. I use RC developments to tune my car as I find clive is one of the knowledgeable people I have ever met in field of Japanese tuning, I used a company called urban racing for fitting some parts once. But I stopped using them when I saw them just fitting boost controllers but not checking the engines for lean burn or det.

Not quite....
Its various connections allow you to map car in terms of fueling at various load points (RPM points and throttlepositions). Using a wideband AFR meter its possible using the S-AFC to adjust the amount of fuel to the engine by increasing the % at that one point or decreasing the % whichever is required. To set it up properly you need to ideally get it on a rolling road near you in west yorkshire and let some professionals set it up correctly. Adjusting the wrong way can seriously damage your engine.
