weird sound and boost gone mad
hi ,
i have a usdm wrx , and last summer i did ecutek the car was running flawless but since i took it this winter in the snow ( cause im from quebec that's in canada) the car just don't want to run properly the boost use to be at 17 pounsds at 3600 rpm now i get full boost at somethin like 5500 and it's only 15 pounds so it sucks !!! and the other problem that i've got , i have headers with a PDE up pipe and when i it full throtlle at somethin like 5000 the car make a noise like triiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiittttttttttt at every speed it does that , people told me that it could the headers do you think this could it .....
please help me i desperate.

Several possibilities:
1/ you may have an air leak somewhere. Take a look at all the pipework around the turbo and see if one of the hoses has come undone.
2/ Could also be that the wastegate is jammed/held partially open all the time - that'd give you lower max boost.
3/ The up pipe/headers could have split or one of the joints has come loose so the exhaust is exiting before it spins the turbo.
