Bought a MY98 a month ago with a dump valve on. Removed it on Saturday and had the standard part fitted.

It drives so much better. With the dump valve it always seemed difficult getting the wheel speed and engine speed to match when changing up a gear. Always felt like it was crashing round the gear box. Now, without the dump valve it's as smooth as silk when changing gear, and I get thouse nice transmission noises too.

Wasn't expecting it to feel different just wanedt the stupid woosh noise to go away.

Dump valve is up for sale if anyone wants it.

 

Standard recirc is always better for most standardish aplications.
