Trying to fit a short shift to the car and i cant get the damm metal ball of the bottom of the original stick. Anyone had the same problem? Any advice would be great even if it is where I can get a new part from?

Ar eyou having trouble taking the original gear stick out? if so then there is a small clip you need to undo from under the car...this is what holds it down


If this does not answer your question..then please explain little more...

 

Thanks, But have the gear stick out its removing the metal ball at the bottom of the stick that i cant get off. I need this off to put on the short shifter.
