Well ive had MY94 WRX for a while now and always run it on optimax..The other day i started using Millers booster which i got in bulk and reset the ECU so it reset itself to run back on 100 ron whci is basically what the optimax and millers is.

It runs soooo much smoother and boosts a whole lot nicer

I would use Octane booster in every tank of fuel on a 94 import. I normally use like 1/2 a bottle per tank and the drive is always smooth.

A good word of advice is also to chuck some *GOOD* injector cleaner in evey now and then to get all the gung outa the injectors that the fuel filter has not picked up..

Probably one of the best Octane boosters available is NF Race available from distributors shown HERE
Resetting the ECU when you are using octane booster will help as it will 're-learn' with the higher octane fuel allowing more ignition advance as it will have a higher knock threshold
ECU reset is shown HERE

Cheers
