Default G-TECH Performance Meter-How do they Work!?!

Sorry, if this has been brought up before, but i was looking at the g-tech performance meters, on ebay.

And wondered how do they measure 0-60, 1/4 etc..from your cigarette lighter???, and are there any recomendations on these?? how accurate are they really??

input the weight of the car and accelerate away the little fellow does everything for you, wont be an exact reading but will be close

cheers mate!, still confuses me about how it can do all of that from a ciggi lighter but hey!

its amazing how we can continue this conversation only by pluging a modem in a telephone line but hey thats technology

It measures your acceleration using an accelerometer (sp?)

A bit of physics (F=ma) and bobs your antie.

lol, too true mate, just thought for £40.00, might be a bit of 'Pub Ammo' if you get me, a way to prove some points maybe?

might be a bit of 'Pub Ammo' if you get me, a way to prove some points maybe?
its not exact, but its like should i weight myself in the bathroom or should i go to the proper weigh in place and and get my weight down to the right lb
