Default Downpipe Problem???

Hi,

I have a 93WRX with H+S de-cat front and center. Was trying to change the downpipe to the original. But the lamda wont fit into the hole. The wire isnt long enough and the lamda is too big. Has anyone else had that problem and would do you do?

Thanks
Barry.

My original dp with cat does not have a hole for the lamba sensor, however it has a smaller hole for the 'cat of fire' sensor.
The original location for the lamba was in the exhaust headers.

So should my lamda go in the headers then? Where about would it be found on the headers?

LH side of exhaust headers (As you look into engine bay)
Same side as your air box/ induction.
Are you removing your decat dp & putting on the original catted dp?

Yeah. I am having probs with the turbo whinning and giving me some hesitation. So i am trying to put the original dp on to see if that cures the problem. I am also selling the car and trying to get everything that i can sell.

Thanks
