Wink

Upgrading to a VTA will improve performance and handling considerably. Loud ones are especially good because it means that power has been boosted quite considerably. As for insurance - I would deny all knowledge (IMHO).

Its not worth changing,The vta one only make noise(unless thats what you want). There is no performance increase. Dont know about insurance,I'd guess they would need to know as its a modification.

I have changed mine to a Bailey DV12 on my 05WRX and have not really noticed any difference, to be honest only change it if you are after the noise they make, whick i do! There are no real performance gains, although you will get turbo spin up better due to it spinning on instead of back pressuse slowing it up. However effects are minimal. Willsy
