Hello people I have decided to get me a subaru as I've wanted one for ages but thought that the fuel costs will do me in but have decided **** it you only live once !!

I have a quick question regarding a standard import WRX !!

I went and had a look at one yesterday and took it for a test drive, and being the first one I have actually driven wasn't sure about something !!

The car was a 95 M WRX totally standard !!

I have driven Turbocharged cars before and normally in the low rev range you can feel the turbo building up then when it gets to a certain RPM you feel a burst of power but when I drove this car. Even though the engine sounded really sweet and quiet, it felt like I was driving a NA car uptill 4k then it really started taking off. I was just wondering if this is the norm ??

PS: The Little vacumn pipe that goes to some sort of accumilator on the front left hand side of the engine bay was off as the top of the accumilator the little connection was broke, don't know if this would affect performance !!
