Default Where do I fit the lambda sensor?

Sounds a silly question,Its an 02 sti. I've noticed on the secs monitor the lambda(afr)readings have become a bit lazy. I've bought myself a wideband lambda,Do i fit it in the up-pipe pre turbo or in the link pipe after the cat(if i had one). Or do i need to replace both of them? Where is the secs monitor taking its reading from Up-pipe? Exhaust or a combination of both?

Theres not one in the down pipe,I've got a feeling the one after where the cat was is only a cat efficiency probe which if im right is now redundant as the cat is removed.

If you can fit it after the turbo do that, is your downpipe a decat? if so it may have a blanking plug just after the turbo if so swap the lambda and plug around.
