bouncing locks

Default bouncing locks

my central locking will not work from my alarm remote or my key, it locks and then unlocks immediately, i cant lock it at all, help!

not very techincal answer but....

I had this and i disconnected the battery for 5mins and it sorted it.


Sorry i have no explanation why!

(appart from the classic PC support answer of reboot and it should work)

It sounds to me like the switch within the door is faulty - sticking in the unlock position) or a broken wire. I cant be anymore specific untill I know the model year. When you attempt to lock the vehicle wih the key in the drivers door, I presume tha only ths door is locking, before immediately unlocking, and the other doors remain in the unlocked position throuhout.

its a 99 my , key in lock will only just turn and central locks everything momentarily, the whole car remains unlocked! almst like something is getting in way of the lock mechanism, had a clifford g5 fitted two weeks ago, they say its not an alarm fault
