Default Problem selecting gear?

Hi,

I've had an occasional problem selecting gear, in that sometimes if i "miss" the gear and crunch it, say between 3rd and 4th then i can't get it back into gear at all until i come to complete halt..

only happened a couple of times, and obviously the solution is to take more care, but is this indicating a problem? My clutch is quite worn, dunno if that can be related?

Thanks!
Dan

I tried to PM, but said your box was full...

sorry to hear you had the same problem! did it get to a point for you where it happened quite often?

how much did it end up costing? I'm kinda disappointed - my wrx only has 70k miles, makes me wonder what else is wearing out!!! Did they just refurb everything in the box, or did they actually find something specificically wrong?

Cheers!
Dan

Hi mate sorry i have cleared my box now.
The problem was often on mine so i took it in and they change a few gears and fixed the syncro in the box and i had a new clutch put in all in costing about £900 , i would take yours to a specialist gear box place and not a dealer it will save you money , if ya catch the problem early it wont cost ya more than me !!.

Cheers Dan
