Default Import still in KM and restricted

Hi, how much would it cost to get a scooby de-restricted and converted into MPH?

if it's an older car you can get an adapter thing for the speed cable for about 50 quid - turns km into mph and moves limit to 180mph

buy a speedo convertor and put it in , a doddle to to it will convert km to mph and de restrict at the same time , the convertor normally costs about 50 - 60 quid, and take about 10 mins to fit i ve converted all my own imprezas

The speedo should be converted to MPH to pass the ESVA (they normally cover up the K) and the car is then calibrated to MPH for the speedo (reads 180mph).
De restricting wont be a problem, a speciallist will do that for you.

Fitted a speedo converter to mine last week.simple job and when presented for sva they rolling road it to check the calibration and it was as close as it gets. Worth noting that you will now clock up miles and not KM on the odohmeter (must learn to spell that) so you can get the mileage re caliberated to whatever it should be (divide KM by 1.6) there are plenty of ads in the autotrader offering speedo correction.
