Default ????????????????????????????????????????

i am asking this question on behalf of another scooby owner !.
he owns a my97 wrx 5 door import, with full de-cat from turbo back and a induction kit.
he has been told that other than chipping / ecu upgrade he should
1. change the up-pipe
2. port the manifold
3. fit a fuel cut defender
4. fit a knock link
5. blitz boost controler
with all this he sould be getting between 300 - 320 bhp
can you tell me if this is a good way to go with these mods and is 300 -320 achievable ?
any answers to this problem are greatly appreciated !!!
THANKS !!!

I would leave the up pipe untill he wants to change the turbo!!
fuel cut defender raises the boost limit of the std ECU (is this wise?!!) A mappable ECU is a better solution.

If he wants safe 300bhp I would look at a mappable ECU first. (Apexi, Link etc)
Knock and Lambda Links
and tubular headers (ported is fine but for better flow a propper set of headers is worth the extra £'s)
That's about £1000 + fitting

Then if he still wants more a boost controller and the up pipe (and turbo change) £400 + turbo and fitting
