Angry Lambda problem solved (I think)

Just had a real close look at the lambda sensor on my scoob.

Seems like some bodger had welded in a universal / anything could find lambda sensor into the original nut on the exhaust manifold.

The thing was floating fully where the weld had let go and hence been drawing fresh air past itself.

On testing the sensor a constant voltage of 5v was coming out as supposed to the 0.2V to 0.8V you should get!!!

So tommorrow shall be a new item being installed.

Can anyone tell me why you buy a 10 grand car just to bodge a 30 quid bit?

Answers on a post card. his bodge could have easily cost me 300 quid.
