Hi there, I have been having a problem with my 95 WRX overboosting well that is what i think it is it will go to about 4000 rpm then its like hitting brick wall. Been looking through threads and seems the problem could be the boost solinoid. My question is that I am thinking of getting a boost contrller - Will this take place of the boost solinoid and hopfully eliminate my overboost problem???

Yes it will.
I had the same prob with my Sti v3 3 years ago. Tried all the clean the solenoid stuff, all to no effect.
I had a Blitz boost controller fitted and the car ran perfectly there after.

At the time it was very expensive, but contact Andy Forrest (Andy F) in the Shop or Projects foruns and he will sort you out.

Don't worry, there is a safe effective fix.
