Default PPP Question??

I've had my sti PPP'ed recently, transforms the car just wish I'd done it sooner. I do find however ther is a faint petrol smell when you start it up, then it goes. Is this normal? Perhaps because it is quite rich on start up and pushing unburnt fuel through the exhaust, or does something need sorting?

It did smell quite strongly of petrol for a few days after fitting the kit, but it was told that was because petrol was spilt whilst fitting the pump.

Help would be appreciated.

I had the same thing, I eventually worked out that when fitting the pump the guy accidently twisted the rubber gasket on the top of the fuel tank. I just removed it and straightend it out problem solved.

take it back to subaru and get it checked out asap

fuel hose connections tighten with expansion when the car is hot, so they may not have tightened all the hoses 100%
