Question how many cats.......

Have been searching for info on how many cats my 1994 imported turbo sportwagon will have. But it seems that there are so many variations on different cars i`m still not sure. Can anybody shed some light for me.
Cheers

Well they say you dont have to..................and i didnt ........mainly cos i couldnt find any body ta do it ,on my model...............I had to change it cos the old one was blowin- another catted pipe was 100 notes more than decat ..so seemed logical ta go for dacat.......However in hindsight i wouldnt have bothered and just kept with the replacement backbox....

...maybe with ramap it would a gone better.........but without my car went better as standard....and as the guy who serviced my car ( and has been involved with the marque for 30 years ) says ...theyve got it right when it leaves the factory..

I have a Magnex centre decat pipe and backbox but the original cats are still there in the downpipe. No problems with MOT. Unfortunately I cannot say if there is a real difference because I bought the car that way. AFAIK - you get better performance from replacing the downpipe with decat version and keep the centre cat (for MOT)....?
