Default Impreza P1 Prodrive upgrade Brakes Pad Part #

Hi,

I have a P1 with the prodrive upgraded brakes. I am looking for compatible pads as I have just forked out for genuine discs at £207+vat each . Im sure the "originals" will just be rebadged anyway. If you could tell me what would fit and part #'s if possible. Many thanks.

You can get DS2500 or Padgid Blue, I will try and find the part numbers. Give Hi-Spec a call because they have these pads!

We have never supplied DS2500 for our 4 pot kit. As far as I'm aware, the pad we use isn't available in the aftermarket either.

Alyn

They are both wrong then

We do use Ferodo pads for std calipers and originally used DS2000 for our 4pot kit but haven't done for about 3 or 4 years.

No problem, just another one of those instances where someone tries to use our name to help sell their product. I'd rather nip it in the bud when erroneous information is posted as it soon becomes fixed in people's minds if it is repeated too often.

Was everyone aware that the 22B had 350bhp as std...........?

Interesting. I will need to renew the DS2000 i have in my Prodrive calipers very soon and was looking for options. Mike... if you don't want to name the manufacturer of the pads you now supply could you give a bit more information, i.e are they aim as a road pad or will they work as a track day pad etc?

Cheers,

Tony.

Tony

As with all the parts we supply, they have been developed for 'spirited' road use. This doesn't mean they won't cope with track work, but as the loads placed on the car on a track can be significantly higher than on the road, you may find that you may reach the limit of endurance some parts on a track. having said that, if you have had no problems with DS2000, you will have no problems with the HP25 either.
