servicing costs my96 wrx (jdm)
hi,
need the 60k service done soon, been quoted £325 labour plus parts this includes the labour for the belts which take a couple of hours so they reckon. is this a reasonable price? and how much are the parts likely to be?

Thats a hell of a lot of labour. The cambelt is not a difficult job not more than £100 in labour max. The belt itself is about £50. All the fluids can be done in well under an hour. Don't know if that includes plugs (which can take time but not more than 1hour). A set will be about £25. £6 for oil filter £20 oil, air filter £10. Have a look in the scoobyshop.

i called another garage and got a qoute of £352 incl Parts which sounds the ticket to me, i was thinking about supplying me own oil, cos i dont want them putting any old rubbish init, any ideas on what make and grade?
