Default door lock trouble ??

i have a little problem with the rear passenger side door on my98 wagon.
the handle works from the outside but not from the inside, just like the child locks are activated. but it isnt, flicking the lever doesnt make any difference.if you pull the internal handle you cant really feel anything happening as if the rod has become disconnected.

is this a common problem?? anyone got any pics / tips to fix ??
i presume im gonna have to take the door card off to do this ?? any ideas / help appreciated please

I say - dis-assemble and have a squiz yourself. Bound to be an easy fix

Don't know for certain but if they're are anything like the front then they will just pull off. Watch for the odd screw around the handle area though
