Default restrictor in pipe

Theres a restrictor fitted in the pipe to the actuator When i fitted the blitz controller i just piped it up with new pipework and no restrictor.
Is this correct ? or should the restrictor be there and for what reason ?????
Any advice appreciated guys

You should have totally removed the OE pipework and replaced it with the blitz stuff with no restrictor

The blitz will then control boost and not the boost solenoid

When I was having my car remapped I fitted a 3 port boost solenoid instead of the 2 port and took the restrictor out and I have had no probs.
