Does UK STi7-8 have a cat in the uppipe?

Does UK STi7-8 have a cat in the uppipe?

I was told they don't, but someone posted on another message board that the non JDM STi's do. True or not? Thank you.

No the sti uk 02's DO NOT have an up-pipe cat

Sorry for the jump in but i would like to know if the jdm bugeye wrx has a cat in the up pipe, i know a uk wrx has one fitted i also was told that uk sti7 has a cat in the up pipe.

I have an 02sti(7) And it definatly did not have an up-pipe cat before it was modded. It now doesnt have any cats. I know this because when i done the de-cat i was going to change the up-pipe only to find there was no need as theres just a pipe and no cat.
