Default exhaust mounting

just bought an exhaust back-box, just wondering what i need to mount it to a my98

backbox should have 3 rubber hangers on a classic and two bolts for the connection to the centre. Some had gaskets (mine didn't), so you may need to replace that when you fit it. I would loosen it first and check; if not, then you're laughing.

Can be done on the ground or stick the rear wheels up on ramps. Can't remember the bolt size, but a socket set, spanners and plenty of WD40 should be everything you need.

thing is its not a direct fit. was thinking i would need to do some cutting and welding, but do i need to buy universal brackets?
