High Level Spoiler WRX?
Thinking about changing my ironing board of a spoiler to the high level style on the newge sti's. Is it a direct swap or are more holes required in the bootlid? I also heard you may need to strengthen the bootlid as the standard wrx isnt strong enough?
Failing that I might consider one from the likes of DR motorsport which is supposed to be a direct replacement, i.e it'll fit in the existing holes. Has anyone bought one of these? Will the bootlid need strenghtening if I bought one of these?
Thanks in advance.
Iain
P.s. My car is a MY02 wrx

all down to which one you buy, if you get the OE sti spoiler in needs a load more holes, and yes subaru do sell a support for the rear spoiler BUT, I don't know any one who have had problems with out it
I ve had the STI spoiler for 2 years now with no problems at all
