Default crank sensor

hello just changed oil, found what i think is crank sensor, tried to pull cap off but all i did was pull rubber seal down, looks like the wires are sealed inside the unit, it has a ten mil bolt holding it in, so i removed the bolt but still cant remove it its turning slightly but wont pull out, just tried again are these things just supposed to pull strait out
