The bonnet catch had a habit of sticking open lately. Usually a quick poke with a finger realeased it and the bonnet would stay shut.

Dealer had the car 3 weeks ago and said the cable needed replaced. Hairy muff, but ever since it won't open at all

Been away for a week and yesterday replaced my brake pads. Now I need to bleed the brakes as the pedal's non-existent

Dealer says the bonnet can be opened, but grill needs removing. Anyone any ideas if it can be opened easily ???

Got it. A bit of brute force and the cable release eventually worked. Can't believe I didn't break anything

 

Make sure you lube the catch up well mate, i expect you already have but just incase, you dont want that happening again!!
