Cool Clutches

Hi Chaps

The OEM Clutch in my MY00 is starting to slip under heavy acceleration so it is about time to change it. What I need to know is what should I replace it with?

I have been offered an original STi clutch but is this better or the same as the one I already have? or should I shell out on an AP clutch if so which one?

Cheers

Steve

how much power and torque are you running?

how many miles did the standard one last?

do you intend doing 1/4 miles/track days?

do you use the car in heavy traffic?

do you have money to burn?

do you have a warranty to worry about?

????

do you use the car in heavy traffic? Sometimes

do you have money to burn? Not really but I will be realistic.

do you have a warranty to worry about? Nope car is 5 years old

api do an uprated clutch (exedy i think). may be worth getting a quote from david.

you must ride the clutch like an old woman to only get 64k out of it
