Default intake resonator box

Is this mounted in the wing on an 03 car? Is it easy to get to?

Neilo,

See here: http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/showthread.php?t=362481

anyway, I did this mod about 6 weeks ago.

Fairly simple to do. The box does need to be pulled very hard to get it to come out.

Once out you need to plug the huge gap that you will have between the airbox and the wing, and also the ram air scoop needs extending too.

The above link was very helpful, also looked at the USA links to.

Hi Neil,
I did this with my old car and used 90 deg & 45 deg grey drainpipe (3 inch?) sections to plug that gap to the wing and suck air from inside the wing.
Intake is high enough to stop water being sucked in.
It was certainly much noisier than std.
